its not going to poop .. out.. 410 on a aod is the ideal... i have no idea were hes getting this.. i have never seen a aod with a 410 dog out at the end of a 1/4

many people will say 3.55s for a 5 speed and 3.73s for auto. 4.10s with an auto are probably okay, but with a 5 speed it will struggle. 4.6s like lower gears, 5.0s really dont, unless they're built to handle it. Lower is not always better.

most people will say 373s for a 5-speed and 410s for a aod... ..-correction-

might depend who u talk to, so many people think 4.10s are so great. Im glad i got 3.55s...

Thanks to all of you for the responses, as i said before, my car is my daily driver and wont see any 1/4 mile tracks but will see some highway time. I dont want gearing that will have me running 5k rpm's at 80 mph in 5th gear, just enough gear to give it a bit more of a kick red light to red light... 3:55's still sound like the best bet for what ill be doing with it daily.

Anyone know, if i were to find some used gears, what i will have to look for... any particular type of vehicle rearend or are they universal for the most part?
