If you plan on pulling the motor out anytime soon, it would be a good time to repaint the engine bay. I dont know why, but i hate red cars. my last 4 cars were black.

I got my car repainted the original color for 1k and that was with a REAL BIG HOMIE HOOK UP. lol. It was supposed to be 1200 with the hook up but we settled for 1000 after about two hours of COME ONE PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Depending on where he lives you might be better of driving there and back. You will still save a Shi* load of money. Get estimates and see if driving there is worth it.

it would be about 1400 for me to paint the car and other places around here it would be like 2400.

that sucks you need friends w/ body shops all i payfro is the paint and a case of beer but it can be verry expinsive but its cheaper to prime it yourself

im doin all the body work at my house and primering i... my dads best freind just built a 200 grand oaint booth and hes gonna paint my car for free! its nice to have freinds like that

I got my car painted the facory red, had all the dents removed, had both sides of my cowl hood painted(plus a **** load of prepping on the hood) and had the silver two tone added and it was $925. Damn paint is getting expensive. Look for a maaco paint shop, depending on where you are they do a decent job for the money. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...erc/022_22.jpg

dont do maco there paint sucks that one coate suff is garbage leace riples in the pain nuthin touches three stace mac will make you unhappy trust me unless you request tons of metal flake itll look likr the paint has ripples in it
