Get a twEECer then you can run whatever you want.... or a PMS or something along that line. Beats the hell outa any computer swap and you will never need to take it in for a custom tune!

How would that work though because I thought that your computer controlled all of your shift points and everything and its a different tranny. Wouldnt you have to remap everything?

I have the same computer in my 94 as the 95.
It works fine with a Superchip burned specifically for my air/fue mix.

The twEECer can control all shift points, you can basically tell it what to do and where to shift along with proper A/F ratios between shifts.... its a pretty amazing unit I am just studying up on it now ( Getting one this Christmass)

How much experience would you need with cars to really use it to its potential? Is it like common sense where you see a crappy curve and you decided to increase it. I heard that mustang strive for fuel or air once you get around the 5500 rpm to the 6000 (redline) and that its better to shift a little earlier then redline, which I can agree with since I feel it when im flooring it,w ould you be able to fix that with a tweecer by adding more fuel? I mean if its a greatmachine then maybe I should start looking into it once I get some more mods on my car and such.

Its not the fact that they are "starving" for fuel or air,its the fact that the heads or intake will allow the motor to breath that high, hence the reason most people will shift a stock or close to stock 5.0 around 5000-5200,even the P's you have don't really breath that good most of the power comes from the bump in compression...Not to mention that stock intake is liking drinking jello through a straw so really the heads you have on the car now are nowhere near there full potential...
