you could mount it on the bottom of the sub frame, i have seen that, on the drivers side under the battery not under under, but on the oppsite side of the sub frame. if you want o do the extra wiring you could mount it under the driver or passingers seat.

i think it will be fine, i have an amp under the passingers seat and it fits fune, you may need to get on your knees and place the box under the seat to see if it will hit anything, if that does not work i dont know where i am going to put mine lol. how thick is the mad box? 3inch
