Default Headlight switch stuck

I went for a drive today, had the headlights on. When I got home and tried to turn the headlights off the switch won't move past the parking light position. So the headlights turn off, but the parking lights won't turn off. The switch is physically stuck. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how did you fix it? Thanks for the help in advance.

take it out and check to see if the pivot pin came out and is jamming it.

there is 2 tabs on the left side behind theswitch, pull on the switch and push in on these 2 tabs one at a time then pull and the switch comes out.

I had it happen once, but it was my fault.

Yeah, I took the switch out and couldn't see anything wrong. Autozone has them for 30 bucks. [&:]
