Soooo! turn your idle down. What is the problem, you say vacume leak as a topic and post a sentance dont be shy. Need more info on what you have, whats wrong and what you have done. Replacing all the vacume lines that you can see is a start

do you have any mods done? Intake manifold? cam? heads? Speed density cars dont adjust well to even the slightest things....you would be suprised! Had an 87 that had a typhoon upper and lower intake....idled around 1200

usually with a vacume leak will drop your idle! well, thats what has happened to me in the past. never had a vacume leak that raises the idle, but thats just me. maybe it could happen?

Yea a Vacum leak will raise your idle, just pull off the first line off the tree and watch your idle peak. If I was you bro, I would take the upper intake off get some new gaskets and new hoses and see if that works.
