question about headers for a '94
I am going to be getting the flowmaster american thunder cat-back system for my '94 GT in a few weeks, and i was wondering what the best headers would be to get for my car, and how much horsepower would i gain? I don't really know to much about them...
i should also add that everything is stock on the engine, since i have not had the money to ad any mods until now.

RE: question about headers for a '94
i would prolly advice getting some BBK short headers or the equal headers with an o/r h-pipe if u don't have to worry about emissions where u live. i have the bbk lt's but there just a pain to install

RE: question about headers for a '94
BBK equal lengths ceramic coated. My brother has them on his 01 GT. They look really sweet.
You will gain some HP... really lets the engine breathe.
I got some good gains with my Macs too. Get some metalic gaskets if you are worried it may leak. Re-torque them after a couple runs.
I used the "paper" type gaskets that came with my headers and pre-soaked them in water before I installed the header. No leaks.
It WILL be tight to get to the header bolts, maybe even getting the engine off the mounts a little may make them easier to install.
