Default Manual R&P

My rack and pinion is getting ready to take a **** on me (I guess that the cam and lifters blah blah blah blah will just have to wait for now). I'm thinking of just going with a manual rack and deleting the power steering. All that I will need is the manual R&P right? Man this sucks, I haven't been able to buy anything performance wise for the past couple of months because of **** going wrong with it, I need to adjust my e-brake, replace the rockers, get new ball joints, get a new r&p and then it will be okay (until something else goes wrong with it (probably that AOD ). Someone please tell me that it's all going to be okay .

or if you have shorty headers you can get the rag joint adapter. thats what i have on my car. dont think i would want a manual rack on a car with full size wheels on the front.

Holcomb Motorsport sells the entire change-over kit made by Flaming River lots cheaper than Summit or anyone else.
Kit is totally complete, nothing else to buy.
Think mine was $374 in 11/05......

False alarm, the R&P is going to go out sometime the seals are leaking on it but I greased the ball joints and the clicking and the hard steering completely went away, now I'm back on track with the cam/lifter/timing chain thing! Sorry guys, I might still go with the manual steering when it does finally go out.
