Default clutch scuff?

sometimes when my 92gt is idling I can hear a very faint scuffing or scrapping sound comming from the front of the trans. It only does it every now and then and sometimes when I push in the clutch and let it out again it stops. whats the deal? The clutch seems to work fine and never slips or anything like that.

I'm not handy with transmissions how much would you rekon to replace the both, or should I just drive until the clutch wears out and get it all replaced at once.

throughout bearings only cost about $30 but installation costs a good amount of bling bling, unless you DIY
