Battery Reloacation switch location.
Hey people,
I have swapped my battery to the back of my 91 LX hatch and I have seen cars like mine that actually have the cut-off switch behind the license plate (not going through). From the pics that I have seen it looks like the plate works on a hinged systems that either fold down or fold up to reveal the switch behind. I was wondering if anybody has ever seen this themselves. If so do you know where I can get one. I need to hurry up and mount this switch so I can go back to the track. (Damn Morosso and their damn rules). [:'(]

Mine is a daily driven street car. Tryin to keep it hidden so know A**hole in a parking lot messes with it. I have seen it done before but I don't know if it was a custom thing. I could make something just wanted to see if anybody knew of any pre-fab kits. Thanks for the quick response. i might end of having to go through the bumper. I have also seen people cut a hole through the tag too. In Florida are tags have a big Orange in the center with 3 characters on each side and someone drilled a hole though the orange and put it there. That was pretty funny and a good idea but I don't know if that is illegal though.

That's what I'm thinkin. I was thinking I could have it hinged at the bottom and bolt the plate to the hinges and make some fiberglass notches on the bottom side of the hatch and use some hooks or something. Not sure. I'll see what I come up with. I'll post pics of what I do when I decide.

Actually I haven't put it on yet. It is sitting in my room at my house. I am thinkin' about putting it in this weekend. If not then next weekend. But the quality of the parts is Top Notch. Communication with the company can sometimes be a little difficult. When I put it on I'll post a vid of the install and some pics of the motor. I'll let you know how it is.
