Default Looking for about 400+ hp please help

Hey Guys I have a 1988 Mustang GT vert. and i was looking to get 400+ hp from a 331 stroker kit and a H/C/I/ combo, I was looking at the Trickflow Track heat kit here is the link http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...h.asp&x=35&y=5 and the Holley systemax II H/C/I kit here is the link for that http://store.summitracing.com/defaul....asp&x=37&y=10 Which one should i go with. Oh keep in mind that i also want to have the option of adding a supercharger later on. Thanks

The trick flow will be a good kit,but since you plan on charging later i would keep the compression around 8.5.1 or 9.1 so it will be boost freindly.

Why not just supercharge your stock block and save yourself some money?

Better yet, spend a little more cabbage, turbocharge your stock motor. While your making 400hp, build your bullet proof low compression 331 stroker in your garage a little bit at a time. A couple years from now, drop that bad *** in there, crank the boost up and make 600+hp.

I agree with Dirty,

Boost low on the stock motor until you can get the motor you really want. Then throw it in and Boost the Hell out of it. That's what I'm doing with my car. Although I am a big fan of "Bigger is Better" I'm going with the 347.
