RE: Advice please!!!
i tell ya it is beaing in the right place at the right time, i payed 2k for my 92 yes it has almost 200k on the speedo but it handles twice as good as my 88 that had 120k on the speedo, and it does not have many raddles or anything, i was lucky to get the car and im glad i did. i look for fox mustangs all the time, i know where a few are sittin in the woods and behind houses, i know where there is one in a shed that if you looked at it you would say no way because the shed is so little, but people want like 3-4k for a junk stang that is why they are still sitting there.

RE: Advice please!!!
That car is f*cked buddy. the 1/4's are totally mangled. Like they said above that car is worth maybe 1000 dollars just for the parts. If you bought it for 2500 you would spend 2500+ to get it fixed, and then still have to rebuild the motor like you said, and spend money on other mechanical problems, 2-3500 should get you a car in good condition, with relatively low miles. The key here is that, that car is not fixable. From what I can see in the pic the drivers side 1/4 is creased in a couple spots which means even if they can pull it out flush, the whole car would need to be painted again. your looking at atleasty 6 grand to get that think fixed.. Not worth it. Buy something already street worthy.
You just gotta find the right person, got my 88 LX 5.0 with 105k on the clock, mint inside and out for 1000 dollars (about 850 american).. mind you that was from my Uncle, the original owner.

You can ALWAYS find decent low priced fox mustangs on ebay, you can sort them by how far they are from you, and theres a ton on there. Shouldnt even take long to find just the right one. Good luck

RE: Advice please!!!
A Grand?!? I wouldnt even pay that. It needs a tranny and the motor needs to be rebuild. It also needs a rear hatch, bumper, support, lights, etc. I wouldnt even touch that thing. Stay away and take your time! If you going to do all of that work (rebuilding motor, tranny, etc.) You should just find a nice roller for 600-700 and work off of that. You will have much better success with doing that they buying a totaled car.
