What is the best HP or speed/performance upgrade that I could do to my '88 5.0 for the money? Let me know please, by spring this badboy needs to be ready to pound some import ***. Thanks.

depends really.. but the best bang for the buck is nitrous.. if yu dont want nitrous I would say get some heads ,cam etc .. mabye get some used stuff if your on a budget

If your not wanting to go for a big mod like nitrous, id go for gears. Even though you dont get any horsepower from them, youd defiantly like the change.</P>

h/i/c will boost about 100 hp for $1500. gears are definately a good mod for the money. o/r x- or h- pipe. longtube headers.

gears, headers, offroad h or x pipe and nitrous. is what i would do. oh and some good sticky draG RADIALS.

Since you are from ohio like me.I would try to wait till april 3-4 for the ford swap meet in columbus at the ohio expo center.Ive gotten alot of good stuff there.I would look for gears,heads,headers,intakes to start.what part of ohio are you from?Im from middletown in sw ohio.
