damn it noooo
i was driving the stang today. sliding the *** end out here and there got some gas i was almost home when all of the sudden the oil pressure gage line blew apart shooting oil all over the insides of the car and me i'll most wrecked beacuse when it happend it shot me in the face and eyes cover the dash seats floor borads all of the oil from the motor is inside the car i cleand it up the best i could but i just put my handinborad new seats in it and the pasenger one was coverd in oil too :'( i got it home beacuse i was almost home but it's a sad sad day.

What actually broke, the line or the gauge? The oil was hot too Id imagine.
Good thing thats all the damage, coulda been worse. IIRC, mechanical oil gauges are technically supposed to be on the exterior right? (Not picking at ya, I have on in my dash so Im curious.)

the line broke right up by the gage it was just a cheapo sunpro and yes it was hot i tired useing my fingers pench the line and it worked for a min or too i put more oil in it and hammer down with the semi pinched with my fingers.

no the guy i picked it up from didn't do any thing right he used some kind of plastic tube i can't belive it even held up to 80-90 psi.
i have been gradualy fixing every thing right on it and i never thought to look after the engine comparnt for what oil line looked like behind the dash. that is something i learned.
