Default Need help with brakes

Hey guys I have a 86 Gt. I Switched over to the 87-93 brakes, rotors, spindles ,shocks. Also I installed a Svo master cyc. I hit the brakes and they arent as tight as my 90 5.0 what could be the culprit???Also they will fade quickly if your kinda going fast and hit the brakes.. If you pump the brakes it will build up pressure to stop.

Sounds like you still have air in the lines. Bleed it out!

How did you bleed the system? Did you Bench bleed the M/C? Did you rebuild the M/C before you installed it? Its one thing to bleed a single wheel a little bit, but it is rather "involved" to try and 2 man bleed the entire system.. Pressure bleeding is the best in this case.

The correct way to bleed is start with bench bleed if MC is new then put on car and start with the furthest wheel away from MC. So it would go like this RR, LR, RF, LF and check MC frequently to make sure it stays atleast half full of brake fluid.

Sorry it took so long but the MC was new we bench bled it then we started with the rr,lr,rf,lf, to bleed the system.... if you hold the pedal it will fade then if you push it again it will tighten up.... i hate to keep mentioning the calipers but they werr JY parts.... We did also change the booster old one was hissing air)
