Solo2 is nice especially being wireless. You should also take a look at the X50. You can get the red display version for the same price as the Solo2. Or the Blue display version for $30 more. Very similiar performance to the Valentine, but much cheaper. Also get the direct wiring harness, much cleaner looking and if you do get around to fixing it you can use you plug for something else.

I have a Cobra 9850 9-band, i love the voice alert. For the price I'm extremely happy with it but its gettin to be a pretty old unit now. I dont use it as an excuse to speed, i kinda have it "just in case"...

Valetine is the best, they are a lil pricy, but they are cool the pick up radar infort and behind you, escort are 2nd best they are like $299. the only thing is you do not need a radar detector because you have eyes you should be looking for them when you know you are going to do something to brake the law. IMO if you get a radar detector you will become depndent on it and you will stop using your eyes so when they are not using radar they are going to catch you doing something.

i have the passport escort x50 ....works great, definetly saved my *** numerous times. it was either that one or the valentine. from all the reviews i've read before purchasing one it seemed like they were dead even, but the escort costs less.
