I picked up a set of Cragar S/S for free. I tried to mount them on my 1994 mustang. The backs went on with a little bit of rubber stickin out, which was not an issue. But the fronts wouldnt mount bc the spokes were hitting the brake caliper. Does anyone have any suggestions of how i could fix this? I was thinking about wheel spacers, but im not too sure of what size i would need?

 

spacers on the front = bad idea

 

Or grind the calipers...But spacers will be fine as long as you put longer hardened studs in.

 

Yea i plan on using the adapters that have the studs sticking out, the ones that bolt onto the old lugs.

Why do you say this would be bad in the front primetime?

 

cragars? are they the new 280 SERIES ss's? because if your running the oldschool cheech & chong cragars someone should take your car away and put you on a TIME OUT.

 

Now why would u say that?? lol Cragars are hott wheels...they cant be that bad if the bullitts are designed after them, and the bullitts are one of the most popular mustang wheels today. Cragars are the original bullitts man.

 

don't diss on the Cragars they are the wheel that started the craz for rims back in the day i miss my cuda it had cragars ss on it.
