RE: Throttle Body Advice Wanted
autos with 410s and a stall i would rock a 70mm
a stick with 373s i would rock a 65mm
now for the first guy 65 is a good size. 70mm isnt really needed quit yet unless you are an auto or have a decent H/C/I setup if not then a 65mm is all you need.
also 5.0foxbody i have a 3k stall for sale with only 3k in miles. its a B&M 3000 holeshot. if interested PM

Get the 70mm, that way in the future when you get more mods, (which you will Horsepower is addictive ) you wont have to buy another throttlebody. I put on a pro products 70mm and I had the mods in my sig on my other stang, I felt some good gains with the 70mm, it pulled way harder in 2nd gear and 3rd, I felt the difference. I didnt loose any throttle response, some people go and buy a 70mm tb and forget to set the TPS, then say that they lost throttle response and there car didnt run as good, and then they go tell everyone on the net that the 70mm TB is too big and made his car slower...Not true, get the 70mm, you thank me in the future.

What is the TPS? And how would you set it? If I were to get a decent H/C/I mod, would having a 65mm TB hurt performance?

RE: Throttle Body Advice Wanted
TPS=Throttle position sensor, you have to set the voltage to .99. or else you will have bad throttle response...also when you set it you will have to reset your idle. there are links on how to set it. search on yahoo. im too lazy to psot the steps. LOL...Likley If you have decent H/C/I then a 65mm might be restricing ,but it wont hurt the performance, you just wont be at full potential, as with the 70mm you will see more gains over the 65mm for H/C,I...I would always pick 70mm so Im not limited in the future....and throttle response wasnt bad for me cause I had full exhaust, 4.10's, So i got some good gains, I would have gotten better gains if I did the maf at the same time...but I didnt have the money, hope this helps

You're talking about getting a new TB, but if you still have the stock MAF, you won't notice much difference at all. Having a larger TB won't help if you're still restricting the air coming thru the stock MAF (55mm).
Get a larger MAF first, then your TB will make more of a difference. I'd go w/ a 75-76 (depending on brand) for the mods you're talking about doing in the future.
Find a used 65mm for now. You can always sell it when you do your H/C/I and go bigger and you'll get most of your $ back on it.
