Default Fox body price ranges and other buying tips

I'm looking at buying a 5.0 5spd Fox body in the near future, and wanted to get some tips as to what to look for/at when buying. Also what are some decent price ranges. Differences between the notch and hatch?

Found a 93 GT, 5.0, 5spd, silver, grey int., 90k miles, bunch of bolt ons (MAF, TB, upper and lower intake, headers, short throw shifter, full flowmasters, rear sway bar and links, pulleys, and a few others), factory wheels, newer tires. The guy doesn't have a price listed, only make offer. What would be a decent price for something like this?

Thanks for any and all help

Check KBB.com... just joking!!

If it's in good condition w/ those bolt-ons, I'd guess around $4k or so (maybe $5k). It depends on the condition of the car, paint, mechanicals, etc.

I bought mine for $1200, but I knew it would need some work and I wanted to rebuild the engine anyways. If it's worth the asking price to you, then I'd say go for it.

BE SURE YOU PULL A CARFAX FIRST!!!! Do your research so you don't get screwed.

Try asking the guy 'what would it take to buy it today?' and see what he says. If he gets a sh-teating grin on his face and says 'best offer' just find something else because he is planning on raping someone.
Better yet, just wait about 2 months till it's tax time and then see how many guy's want to sell cars.
Remember, any/all 'bolt-ons' are USED speed equipment, Used stuff is never worth more than 50% of its new cost....
Around here (Tucson,AZ) 5.0's go from $500 to as much as you want to spend..........
