Default intake gaskets

I am going to be installing a new upper and lower edelbrok performer intake and was wondering if special gaskets are needed for use with stock heads?I would love some new heads as well but $$'s dont flow like they used to.Also i am possibly going to be installing some 24# injectors to go with my new 70mm tb and 73maf but the maf is calibrated for 19# injectors. How easy is it to recalibrate the maf for 24# injectors??Sorry about multiple questions.

Thanks....

Special gasket for the upper yeah you do. For the lower that bolts up to the heads no you dont, just use felpro gaskets.

when i did mine i just got a felpro kit. it had the gaskets for the upper-> lower and lower->heads as well as an o-ring for the dizzy and the lifter valley gaskets.

also-there is no need for 24lb injectors with a stock motor. stick to the 19's till you make some more power.

I'm w/ fordguy....you don't need more than 19's right now. You can make close to 300hp to the wheels w/ 19's.

Depending on what MAF you have, it has to be sent back to the manufacturer to re-calibrate it. If it's C&L, you could buy a different sample tube.

When I changed the gaskets for my performer rpm they told me that I need edelbrock gaskets. So I had to order them from a local performance shop.
