Hey new to the forum, have a stupid question. I just bought a 93 mustang gt convertable it has a holly systemax system in it with equal length headers. it has a 75mm mas air and throttle body on it with a bbk cold air intake it also has an automatic race tranny with od and high stall comverter i am thinking of putting 4.10's in the rear end. I will be driving on the highway and would like to be able to get up to 120 without a problem. will 4.10s be good or should i go for 3.73s?
With the AOD 4.10's and no less....Trust me you will not regret it.
this is very true. I have a stock 94 Cobra MTX and after spinning my tires at the launch, and missing 3rd gear. i was only 1/2 a car length behind a AOD notch that is running a BBK adjustable FPR, Edlebrock intake manifold, C&L MAF, shorty headers, prochamber h pipe, and flowmaster mufflers... he had 4.10 gears AND MT e/t streets
