Ok here is what. I found it is installed on the Dodge Stealth awd twin turbo exhaust right before the mufler set up on a flapper or cut out.
These vehicles were equipped with a push button exhaust option to go from sport to standard. When you choose option for sport a solenoid opens the flapper/cutout which is hinged on a now not so infamous muffler bearing. This is the actual name Dodge give the part as well. But the only way it is serviced is as a stock awd tt muffler asembly. So now there is and end to the myth behind the muffler bearing. Leave it to dodge to do it though. LOL and to think i work for them[sm=yeahsmile.gif]

Also i will try to find a pic of it. But that site has got some funny stuff on it. I like the headlight filament or the air change kit for the tires.
i'm not suprised dodge has a muffler bearing [&:]

Don't forget your halogen fluid. Its the perfect new fix for those dull headlights.

Wow this brings back fond memories from the Marine artillery. We used to send out the newbies for a bucket of muzzle blast. It was hilarious, we would tell them to go out in front of the guns with their bucket and wait. Being fresh out of Boot Camp they would believe anything. Another favorite was the K-9 P for the T R double E. The firing lock is the firing pin assembly and we had a 2nd LT tell the commanding officer we needed the combination or we could not fire. GOOD TIMES[sm=laughat.gif]
