Default Idle problems

I have a 95 GT and it will stall when it idles a lot. I replace the idle air control but it still does it. It also takes a long time for the RPMs to drop when it is reved up? Can anyone help?

Check your throttle position sensor (TPS). the voltage should be around .98V DC

i have a similar problem wit my 93 gt, on cold mornings, i start my car and it starts fine but it dies right away so i have to start it 2 or 3 times before it idles or keep revving it up until it idles. after its warmed up, it idles fine. i was thinking maybe cleanin the maf and t/b to see if taht helps and i was also thinking maybe it could be the fuel pump. my car does have 107k miles on the stock motor wit the stoc fuel pump, how long do they usually last? cuz if i need a new one, i want a better than stock one. where is the tps sensor and how do u check it, and how do u check for vacuum leaks? any help greatly appreciated.

get a can of carb cleaner and spray your hoses while the car is running if you have a leak your idle will drop or your car will stall once you pin point your leak fix it. thats how the mechanic at the speed shop found my numarus vacuum leaks
