carfax would not show if was a saleen.

same as rousch ... they buy mustangs and convert them.

it will just show where it was made and original equipment.

and from what i heard, yes they were made, but never released for sale.

i have yet to see solid proof that any were sold.

in '93 there were a total of 9 cobra's made that were non-clearcoated red.

1 had black cloth interior, 1 had grey cloth interior, and 7 had the typical grey leather.

but you won't find them for sale, cuz they never were...just counted in the stats.

I happen to be best friends with a guy who owns an 87 saleen coupe. its white with gold stripes, decals and wheels. He knows steve saleen personally and has many autpgraphs. his dash is signed and so is his rear view mirror. i got some pics around here somwere.
