car starts and then rpms go down
ok so i start my car and the rpms go up and slowly fall and the car dies
it happens maybe 1 time every 5 times i start it
and if it doesnt die when i start it, when i put it in D, or R it dies
but other times it runs fine..wut could be wrong?

it is a shiney motor looking cylinder on the side of the throttle body. unplug it. take off the two bolts that hold it on. make sure you dont lose the gasket! take a q tip and put some carb cleaner on that tip. clean out the inside of the idle air control passages. once all the carbon is removed, put it back on and dont forget the gasket!

in the pictures the motor is not visable becuase it is hiding behind plastic. i am not sure wether yours is polished or plastic.
