why do you need to disconect the cable. white face guages are usually just overlays. just pull off the needles. but make sure you mark down the postiton of htem before han d

it is a pain to get off mot much room to get your hands in but there is a little metal clip to push back (if I remember correctly) I had to do it to change the heater core the real pain is the clips for the lights &amp; all

its got a plastic clip hard to get your hand under neath dash,,to disconect..have to pinch clip to get it out..
