Default TPS questions

I was out trying to check the voltage at the TPS on my 94 GT and found that I don't have a green wire to test. My wires are brown..gray/white...gray/red Also I didn' get any readings at all.KOEO with my DVM. It could have been a bad probe on my part. And how in the f#$% do you get to the ataching screws? Do I have to take the IAC off?

Thanx for the input

Yup....you would have to remove the IAC....not much to adjust though, the screw holes aren't that big. You might want to also check this '94 wiring diagram (courtesy of TMoss and veryuseful.com) so you can id the wires correctly. GL

PS: If you want to make sure you're following the right setup for the KOEO scan, check this DIY procedure, it also hass the links for the 3-digit codes definitions....again, GL

It is the middle wire on the tps plug. You have to take out the IAC to get to the screws. Tap into the middle wire and read it with the volt meter. Only ignition on, dont start the engine.
