heater core is bad, is there any other place to block it off besides the fire wall??

What is a heater core??? What is air conditioning??? These are questions I have to ask every time I drive mine....

heater core is a mini radiaor under neath your dash, this is for the heater in your car , it flows hot coolant from your water pump to the heater core...
