I just got a new job that pays pretty well... how else woulda 19 yr old be able to afford a 25k car lol i mean, im not rich but im making good money now. Anyway, I almost cried today when I got home from work. As I said before, I havent drove the stang in a while, let alone looked at it in the light. I got home from work today and seen something on the roof of my stang that looked white so I went over to check it out. I recently discovered that my clear coat is peeling off on my roof!!!!!!!!! I was soooooooooo pissed off its not even funny. Its not too bad, one spot about the size of a silver dollar (maybe a little bigger) but its wierd because it wasnt like that a week ago, I guess this stuff just happens over night? Im going to maybe have a shop respray the roof before I sell it, that definetly kills one of my strong selling points which is the car having the stock paintjob and looking pretty good for its age, peeling clear coat is definetly a turn off. Anyway, anymore offers? I would so SUPPPPPER happy if I got like 7k for my car (after I got the roof fixed). IMO, its worth it but I know know what its worth to other people. If I do sell it I will prob put it in autotrader, craigslist.com, etc and hopefully sell it like that, if not, ebay will be the only other way. Any more opinions?

dan im sure you can get close to 7 for it if you fix that peeling clear coat hell get some sand paper be gental and wet sand it then spray some rattle can clear on there and wet sand some more

I bought mine with fewer miles and a stick, in very similar condition (my clear problems are more advanced than yours, but once it starts there ain't no stopping it) for $3600 in Indiana.

How will the school know if you drop it down to storage insurance ($100/yr)? Your current liability insurance isn't going to cover crap on their property anyhow.

key word here indiana, jersey is a very very high priced state eveything around here is very expensive. cigs here are 6.40 a pack and you go over the border to pa and its like 3.50 a pack
