for the first time since i got the car i ran it hard on the freeway for a few miles. I then noticed the temp. almost to the red. The radiator was just flushed. is it the t-stat or do i have a clogged radiator???????????????

 

Doubt its a clogged radiator if you just flushed it.Stuck t-stat would be my guess and its cheap enough to replace just to find out.Hope you got small hands.

 

thanks, yeah i was thinking the same thing. it hasn't got hot today an i ran her pretty hard to see if it would and it didn't get hot like yesterday. I thought maybe the t-stat was sticking. I will replace that first. thanks

 

if you overheated, might wanna check your water pump
