Interesting. I went the other way, well almost, I sold my 2000 GT and bought an '88 Fox.
I could not see tearing new parts off the 2000 in order to add performance mods. I did add 3:73 gears.
The '88, on the other hand, was made to modify, and modify I did, from the engine to the suspension including 5 lug and discs all round.
Funny though, it still needs those 3:55 gears.
