I had a 97 cobra and I have a 92 gt. Which one do I still have? the good ol fox. Honestly the sn-95 platform is the same. The body is just diff. They are nice cars. Handle good, run ok with the dohc 4.6 anything less is a slow mofountill you do some major mods. The suspenson on the fox can be changed so easy and is not that expensive. Get the fox plan and simple.

So I sold my other car today. With that money plus my savings that puts me in th 6000$ area. I'm thinking I borrow the difference and try to find a stock(or mostly stock) 94-95 Cobra in the 7k range. If I can't find one I'll settle for a 95gt I think or a notch but I think that will be even harder to find than a cobra.

fox - lighter/faster
if you want a drag car buy a fox, if not, find yourself a near stock sn95.
if you get a fox make sure it's a hatchback! notches are overrrrated.

Based upon lots of reading I think it's pretty clear that the Foxes absolutely have the best bang for the buck and the notches are absolutely beautiful. On the other hand the SN95's stock appear to be a bit heavier and a hair slower in the 1/4, but have a little bit better Daily Driver friendliness.

Ok well I over estimated my funds so now it's gonna be whatever I can find in the 5-6k range whether that be a stock 95gt or a very clean, low mods FOX...

the 5.0 cobras just don't have much more HP than the 5.0
trust me 4 valve cobra is where it is at nice interior plenty of power limited edition better tail lights
