Went to the track tonight with high hopes and I did better than I thought I would. I ran only my street tires, no MT's tonight(I went alone....didn't want to break by myself)

Here are my times....

First run
2.337---- 60'(spun bad)
14.045--- 1/4
101.62mph

2nd run
1.990----60'
13.541---1/4
102.41mph

3rd run
1.929----60'
13.400---1/4
103.10mph

I am pretty happy to see a 13.4 flat. If I would have had my MT's I could have gotten at least a 13.1(I was cutting 1.7 60' with those) I ran about 7 times, all the rest were 13.5 to 13.7 but I couldn't hook anymore...they were allbad 60'. I know it's got more in it and hopfully by the end of the year I can break into 12's with my stang. Next year I will have a 351 in it so 12's should be easy

congrats, you should be able to cut some 1.80s with your current tires with a little more practice my goal is 1.60s with the new springs and all but i just cant seem to get better than a 1.705 just yet. give me time though i did manage to cut a .001 light on a pro tree last sat.

I thought I did pretty good with a 1.9 60' on the street tires....no namers 255/40/17. Good job on the light

what do you have for mods?

Not much really...lots of little things, but the main things are ported e7's, 1.7 rr, ported stock upper and lower intake, 65mm TB, 70mm MAF, 3.73 gears, upper and lower control arms. I am pretty close to stock, just about everything is worked over by me. Do you want a whole list?

dude great times, there is a lot of guys out there with hci's that wish they could get a slip like that congrats.

Thanks guys, I am pretty happy with those times, considering I am using all the stock stuff still...I did all the porting myself.

Next time out I will run the M/T's
