Im putting new wheels on very soon and i noticed that to take the wheels off you need a special key. Is there any other way of getting the thewheel off withougt the key. Where can i getitif thats not possible.

you can go to some shops...they have tools to remove locking lugs...we chage $5-10 a lock to remove em

well if you got your car used and it has locking nuts on it you can go ghetto and make up a way or take it to a shop, but before you do that lookin the tire changeing kit if you have one and maybe the perivous owner put one in there cause thats what we do with all of ours cause we usaly order 2 keys to unlock the nut.

I took my car a long time ago to Discount Tire and the took them all off for a couple bucks

not as much fun as grinding and cutting tho.....

Find a socket that will not quite go on and pound it on with a 4lb hammer then put a ratchet on the socket and presto. I have had to do a couple of times.

+1, thats what I have had to do. I used an impact and they come right off.

That will work but it won't be as easy to get it out of the socket.
