Default 5.0 withdrawl

Been almost 2 months and miss the raw power and shifting through my MGW. This is my first head swap so knew thir would be problems, I have done just about everything ona stang but dive into the engine. Of course I had to go crazy smoothing engine bay, hiding wires, painting every pieceI` could the color of my car of my silver accent and clear coating with my spary gun. Anyway got it all together and she started then got a noise, after compression check showed none in #6 I removed the cover and found broken roller rocker pedistal. Ordered new, installed all new ones and found one of my brand new lifters colapsed in the process. Guess i'll tear the lower off this weeekend.

everything but the heads were new, but I had them shaved, I rmoved all valves and cleaned, I also di some mild port work, mainly to smooth it out. I also went to put the upper on a week ago I found out I needed a spacer. Got that then this, but I expected it. Just can't wait to drive it. Also put battery in trunk, got hotchkis c/c plates, new seering rack and pump. Aluminum radiator, she should be pretty sweet

I know how you feel about withdrawls. I wrecked mine in November,[:'(] and I am just now building my next one. I am putting my old motor in my new car as it wasnt hurt, neither was my driveline. but, its a slow go, since I got married in April and bought a house and all. But I still am so looking forward to that day when I fire her up again. I hope it will be in the next 2 weeks or so.
