I was finally able to drive my stang with the new 357w. I was so eager to get it on the road that I mixed up some plug wires, and like a dumbass I thought there was a serious problem in the engine . Quick fix. Fired right up, sounds great, but smells like its running rich. After letting her warm up and a couple clutched revsto let my neighbors know I got her running I took her out for a couple late night runs up and down the street, takes off hard [sm=wootwoot.gif]. I should've put in a new clutch while I had it out but oh well. The speedo needs to be calibrated for the 3:73'swent with the 5.8 lightning efi setup. Hopefully I can get it tuned soon, it feels like its got more power that I'm not getting out of it. *** dyno says 400rwhp and 420 ft lbs.
Mods: low mileage roller 351w bored to 357, fully forged internals(c/r 9.5:1)(future boost/spray?), canfield 195's with 1.7rr's, custom anderson cam, port matched holley rpm air gap upper, 5.8 air gap lower intakes, rebuilt 8.8 with 3:73's and moser 31 spline axles, explorer 31 spline carrier, custom shorty headers, custom "off road" H pipe, slp loudmouth axle backs, I got the lightning efi set up(dont think that was the way to go)Along with numerous supporting mods fuel pump ect... And it all (barely) fits under the stock hood, thanks to some custom solid motor mounts and the tubular k-member. I love the way it rumbles/rattles with that big cam. In all it went together smoothly and I am more then satisfied(for now) with the cars performance. I've got myself one hell of a sleeper now, still rocking the stock pony rimsCar's not done, I'll be needing some new tires soon.
Thanks to anyone who have helped me with my project. You MFer's really helped alot.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

I'm worried about twisting the car up since its a vert with no chassis stiffening, I'll need a cage to run it at the track, so I may as well put one in to stiffen the car, but there goes my sleeper status...hmmm what to do?

I can't post pics, the comp that I use has no usb port (emachine p.o.s.), so I use the old style film camera. [:@]

haha, ya but then I'd be getting some wierd looks, I'm from cali, the land of fruits and nuts. How much of a cage would I have to put in it to run at the track? Could I get away with a little roll bar, or would it have to be a full cage?
