5.0 lincoln swap
hi my name is ben and i have a 91 gt rolling chassis and a 5.0 ho out of a markVII i will be using a t5 out of a 4cyl mustang. does anyone know about sensors on these motors such as map/act/tad/tab/tps? are they interchangable? all plugs on the stang are still there and i was told it would be a plug in motor. what about mass air sensor? i have a (A9L) pcm but im more unsure of the engine will i need a new harness for the engine? any help is great thanks
It should go right in... all the sensors are where they need to be. The pulley brackets are different from a mustang setup, even the crank pulley is different size. The only difference up top is the heater hose setup toward the back of the motor. The computer should run the engine with no problems.
What year lincoln is it out of??

its out of a 1988 mark7 do you know if this is a speed density or mass air motor and what will i have to do to make it mass air. what i should realy start with is where is the plug in for the mass air on the motor or on the chassis thanks for your help as this is my first 5.0 project and i got it in peices so any help/pic of engine compartment will realy help!
the motor is just a motor and it shouldn't matter if it was originally sd or mass air. But the car it is going is is made to run with mass air then youll need to use all the managemnt stuff associated with it. (pretty much the computer, wiring, and mass air sensor.) Use whats on the body.
