Default Project '85 LX: GM Killer (Update)

Hey everybody! Been a while since I posted last. Last time I updated the car I had purchased about $1,100 worth of front suspension parts for my race car. All UPR Products stuff with Strange 10way adjustable shocks and a flaming river manual steering rack.

Since then Ive added '87-'93 front spindles,'87-'93 LX Taillights, andpurchased the Ford Racing 5 lug brake rotors from Summit. Also added was some more UPR Products Rear Suspension parts, Upper/Lower control arms, Moroso Trick Drag Springs, and Lakewood 50/50 Drag Shocks. Here are some pics of my latest work. Hope you likey likey!

Looks good man, I don't think I can go that far with my coil overs without the tires hitting the inner fender. What size tire are you running?

removing the old upper/lower control arms isa real pain. especially with a 20+ year old car. I was removing the old 7.5 rearend and replacing it with an 8.8 so I took a sawzall and cut the old stuff out so i could get a better grasp on removing the old hardware. much easier to work when there is no rearend/driveshaft in the way!

Thanks for the comments too!
