Default Another "what should it run"

The car is a 95 convertible GT 5 speed. Assuming driver mod, full traction, and the normal 90+ degree Georgia heat, what should my car run??
It's completely stock except the famous 3.73 r&p and 2.25" xpipe, 40 series, and turndowns.
I also have the air silencer removed and timing advanced as much as possible without pinging on 93 octane.

When it was 100% stock I ran a 15.6 with no traction in 1st, justfor reference.

If you dont have sticky tires i'd guess mid to low 15s with that heat.

Go to Reynold's friday for test and tune. I'd say mid to high 14's. What do you mean by full traction because that will make a diff.

Yeah, I've been thinking whether or not to go. Depends if my dad is racing or not.
Before I race I should find some slicks, but I just want to get the speed out of my system.

Today a friend was following me in his 14.5 secondeclipse, we both hit it at the same time and he said I was pulling away pretty hard.

With a 91 red lx, and your mods except i had bigger MA and TB than stock,I think the 95's had bigger MA and TB, anyway it would run 14.2-14.4 all night with dhitty cooper tires. I bet that the kid that drives that old car of mine goes to yur school. It just got repainted red with some kinda flame on the fenders. I sold it to his dad a few months ago. I live next door to them. His dad has some nice rides. 68 firebird with the 500+ci crate engine, blown 65 nova 2, and a first gen stang he is restoring.
With slicks you will get into 13's. What does your dad have in that red camaro. Yea, i saw the *** end of your mustang in the air sat. Did ya'll get finished.

Is it the guy that lives on the corner of tharpe and the neighborhood? Do you know their name?

Ishould really run a 13 with slicks? A 12 is my goal for this car, so$500 and already into 13's is pretty nice.
The 80 red camaro has a dart 540 with merlin heads, 14.5:1 CR forged pistons, crank, rods, manley valves, big cam, dominator, etc. All to a powerglide and ford 9"... stock suspension though.

The other red camaro has a 388 stroker, not too sure on everything, but it's completely built, nothing stock except the body (minus the hood).

After I went up to summit and got my shims and $150 worth of nitrous jets (for my dad),we got it done sunday. Then I played with the timing

I can see high 13's with slicks. My old red had 73mm MA, 70mm TB,gears and everything else was stock. Like i said 14.2-14.4 all night. When i say bad tires, i meant bad tires, they were bald.I am sure we are talking about the same kid. The name of the neihborhood is the Bryson. And no i cant remember their names right now, that is pretty sad, we live next door to each other.Your dad needs some susp. bad.

That's very motivating. I guess I'm heading out to Reynolds tomorrow, my dad said he's taking the camaro.
Everyone says he needs suspension, but the car hooks really good. When we had a 383 stroker it would stand straight up, and now with the 540 it just goes. 8.50 @155 on stock leaf springs
