just onr more question. if i put a filter on the valve cover do i need to cap the little outlet on the side of the filler tube.

That was addressed in my first post If you decide to eliminate the PCV system and you run breathers instead, then it won't matter. You can either cap it off or you can simply vent it to the atmosphere. Once everything is dosconnected from the upper intake, then it really won't matter.
