Yeah, your 60' will have a huge impact on your et, but good grief, get you car tuned. It has to be WAY out. I'm running the same heads with a smaller cam a 3.00 gearwith a 4 speed and a 570cfm carb with a low rise dual plane and still manage low 13's at 106-107, and I know our vehicle weights aren't THAT dis-similar. Even when I pull 2.4-2.5 60's it still runs in the 13's. Your setupmust be leaving a LOT of power on the table without a tune, either that or something is wrong

Try stalling it lower and letting the converter flash to a higher RPM.
How do I do that?
Im really unfamiliar with stall converters

Ive gotta find somebody to tune it and save up a little money to get it tuned.
Theres only one tuner around here that does Mustangs but theyre supposedly horrible.

Driving with a bad tune isn't something you want to do, too lean and you could detonate or run too hot and burn valves, too rich and you'll wash oil from your cylinder walls and accelerate ring wear

It takes practice, you'll learn what works for the car with more seat time. A whole different world than street driving. Have fun though, now that you have the 1st time to the strip jitters gone you'll pay more attention to what you're doing.
