Oil Pressure issue

If you get a gauge with a line on it you should be fine, the line should be esier to get on than a sender. Otherwise you'd need go aftermarket gauges/senders etc.

ya that sender is a bitch to get off and on at least it is on my 5.0, the power steering accessory bracket is right there[:@]

I have had alot of people tell me its probably blown out main bearings[:@][:@]man I hope not I really don't want to have to get the engine rebuilt

Anyone else have this happen to them?

I have a similar problem I just picked up a new sensor from Napa and am going to see if that fixes it, and if it doesn't I guess I'm in the same boat as you.

hopefully you have better luck than me mine was the bearings. mine actually was bad enough that i had gold in my oil from the bearings. good luck

Ya the more reaserch I do, the more I think that is the problem[:@]


Damn I just got my car running half decent and now I need a new engine[:@][:@]

I am going to try changing the oil this weekend and adding some of that lucas oil addative to see if it will help....at least for a little while[8D]
