I recently got a pretty good paying job. So now im going to have alot more money to put in the stang. Its mostly stock. It does have a full flowmaster exhause and 410 gears. Im mostly looking for advice on performance mods. The car is a 94 5.0, It has 137,000 miles, would you guys recomend modding this motor or should i just save for a new one. Otherwise where would you guys start as far as moding this car?

 

Depends on what you wanna do with it. I don't know what kind of condition your engine is in, but at 137,000 miles, it probably won't be great. You could rebuild what you've got, you could rebuild and stroke it, you could swap a 351w, a stroked 351w, a big block, you can take your chances and throw on some forced inuction or some nitrous, and I could go on forever. Then you have to figure, power isn't much good if you can't put it to the wheels, you'll need a built tranny if you're going for high amounts of power, suspension to match what you want to do with the car, etc etc.

Or if you're looking for a little bit of added power for your daily driver, you can go for H/C/I.

It's really up to you and your budget.
