i've driven numerous regular WRXs and my car would have smoked them, and i just had a CAI, full exhaust and 355s.

first off the 02-05 WRX were the 2.0L, the 06 and 07 WRX are the 2.5L

a plain WRX with a good launch, turbo back exhaust, and tune (which people do with a handheld tuner), will run mid to high13s no problem, your foxbody will run low 14s on a good day, unless his tranny blows on the launch or he misses a shift, youre screwed

Like I said.. the 02-05's also have the worst transmission of all subbie's.. If he's upped the boost and done all the supporting mods, then his tranny is a time bomb. If he knows what he's doing hes launching soft then going instead of a full clutch slip at 5500 like normal, unless he's swapped the transmission also, or just doesnt care if it goes pop.

my roomate just told me with his work his car is known as a "stage 2 wrx" I dont know what that means, but I'm pretty sure a 91 vert with only bolt ons and BFG T/A radials wont hang with it very long gonna be tons of fun though. Ive never been racing before, and I cant wait to go
