oh I agree, they look nice, but if I was going to get a nissan to fix up, I would get a 300zx and fix that up for much cheaper!

350z's on the best of days run a 14.0 stock. But most ones I see at the track run anywhere from 14.5-15.5. You also have to look at the people who drive 350z's. They seem to be more uppy look how much money I have kind of people then really I want to go fast kind of person.

Also look at the power curve for a 350Z. I am not sure what theirs looks like, but there is no way they have the same flat line we mustang owners love.

Shortly said how long do they make 250+ HP while going through the gears.

My thought would be it has more to do with how flat your HP and torque curves are compared to how narrow and peaky theirs are. It seems a little extreme in this situation, but it's like they say when building an engine, you'll be happier if you shoot for more area under the curve instead of striving for peak horsepower alone.

its a nice car, but not good enough for me, ill take a old beat up stang first lol
a kid at school has a 300zx w/ stock twins and got a tune and boost controler for 15lbs.
he said he pushes 400rwhp and runs mid 12's, seriously i think he doesnt have that much, but im sure hes got 300rwhp anyways, it is a v6 so i guess the possibilty is there. he said he wants to sell it. i wants a stang lol
