Don't yell for starters. There's a button inbetween shift and tab called "caps lock". And it all depends on what you prefer. Stock 5-speed is generally faster than a srock auto. But a beefed up auto with a shift kit would be better for drag racing. But personally I prefer stick because it feels like you have more conotrol over your engine and its more fun.

I agree i prefer stick better than auto. I think its more fun as well, but i would go auto if all i was gonna do was drag race.

5 speed for sure.....even though I have an automatic...

Man, don't get a Mustang and go out and kill yourself. If you have never driven a powerful rear wheel drive car before, perhaps you should take things easy with it before you go getting all crazy. These cars can kill you if you don't respect them.

You will be dissapointed with an auto. I had a 70 nova, and broke the muncie, decided to go with a built 350 and regretted it.

I guess I'm the only one here who prefers a auto. Sticks are fun but for a street/strip car I'd rather have an auto. Especially in a car that doesn't have cup holders.

Ya its a pain shifting while eating. (btw i only eat foods that wont leave crumbs everywhere or could potentially cause stains.)
