Would this look presentable?????
[align=left]I am in the process of restoring my car to showroom condition. It has a gray cloth interior. I want to paint the dash and center console black but keep the seats gray. Should i change the carpet to black too or what.
WOULD THIS LOOK GOOD AT ALL??????
Also is there anywhere i can get the large plastic panels for the back seats and hatch sides????? They are cracked around the screws. (someone overtightened).
Thanks guys.

RE: Would this look presentable?????
you have to get those panels used .. ive never heard of anyone selling them new .. guys are parting out there cars all the time it shouldnt be to hard to find them but like i said its gonna be used .. i also hear its better to dye your interior rather than painting .. i think that pro 50 guy has the grey interior with black carpet i saw a pic posted some where on here .. do a carpet search his pic should pop up .. i thought it looked really nice something different stands out ....

ive recently done my interior. i have some old picture of me in progess but you'll get the idea. gray dash and center console(anything plastic basically) made my own back seats, black carpet, made my headliner and visors. all i need now is front seats. PM me if you want to see the pics.

I will try to take some pics, but I just went from a smoke gray interior to all black, with the exception of the carpet, a few interior panels like the scuff plates, the seats, and the door carpet. I think it looks pretty good. I used Duplicolor's Fabric and Vinyl paint for everything. For fabric and vinyl, you merely use the paint, but you can also use it on hard plastics if you use Duplicolor's adhesion promoter.

you should keep parts of the dash and door panels gray to maintain the seats gray. black carpet is a must no matter what colors you pick for everything else
