Damn I hate fixing things twice
ORIGINAL: PJB
Even more bad news and money spent.
My car is/was put back together but now the head gaskets are bad and need to be replaced. When he was running the car putting coolant back in it from the intake gasket replacement coolant kept bubbling out of the radiator.
The total bill is going to be over $1600 now.

No matter what you decide, good luck man. That whole situation sucks.
The $1600 is all the labor and parts for the rearend too.
I just know when Im in over my head with repairs and headgaskets and rearends are things I know enough not to mess with.
I also dont have time to do major repairs lately due to working full time and working a side job after my regular job and on my days off.
I do almostall regular repairs and maintenance and most mods to my car myself.
Atleast after these repairs the car will be fixed right and might even run better.
Im wondering how much the bad intakegasketsand headgasket(s), misadjusted valves and incorrectly shimmed rearend actually hurt the car's performance.

Update- the headgaskets werent bad.
The shop checked the cooling system with some kind of pressure filler (forgot what he called it) and found it was just an air bubble or something in the system.
That saves me almost $600.
