Hey guys I just bought myself a 94 GT with a salvage title and 170k for 2 grand. I needed another DD after putting the procharger on the other car which now is going to be a nice day/weekend warrior. Anything I should look out for on these cars oh and BTW what do the 5.0's get as far as gas mileage. The car is bone stock except for shorty headers and offroad h.

 

Mine is a 88 vert AOD with 120k miles,

mods in sig including 4.10 gears

and if im nice i get 20mpg which is mostly highway

 

My 92 GT Vert with AOD and stock gears (3.08s maybe??) gets around 25 mpg on the highway and about 20 in town.

 

i get anywhere from 12-16 (got 16 once) and it's all around town...but i only drive it on the weekends cause im at college during the week, and i'm 18..so i drive it like it's meant to be driven

 

My 94 gets about 25 (have been as good as 27mpg) on the highway, and about 17 around town.

Stock 3.08 gears. 205k Mi.

 

Man, I wish I got that kind of mileage. I guess I drive like a maniac?[] I get about 14ish mostly highway, then again, the traffic flows at 80+ mph around here and I have a lead foot.

I did get around 20 when I first bought it though, and that was city driving.. so I guess they get good mileage if you drive it like a normal car. [:'(]

I like my new edge and I've wanted a 5.0 so I thought i'd get the best of both worlds and now I have amodular stang and a pushrod stang.
