The clutch pedal feels normal and go's into gear normaly when the car is not running, but while the car is running you cannot get it into any gear. This is a blown clutch correct?

Im not exactly sure how old the clutch is, i did not put it in,but i know its not stock, it is very stiff and hard to drive if your not use to it.It was working completly fine until one day it just blew on mewhile i was sitting traffic. I could notget it into any gear. At first i thought is was the cable, because i heard a snaping noise, but the clutch pedal feels completly normal. Wouldn't it feel loose if the cable snapped?
